Researcher Profile
In the project, I will analyse sources on economic history and demography from all the locations studied, but primarily from the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Tax sources, land inventories, and baptism, marriage, and funeral records will be of particular importance.
In my daily research work, I focus on the economy and rural society of the pre-industrial era, with particular emphasis on issues such as the peasant economy and manorial economies, the development of the fiscal state, and the history of the family and its household.
